ANNOUNCEMENT: Diocesan Day (June 15, 2025)
Dear brothers and sisters, we invite you to the largest gathering of Serbs in Canada – Diocesan Day – which will be held on June 15, 2025 (All Saints Sunday) at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Milton.
The day will begin at 9:30 AM with the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy which will be presided over by His Eminence Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada Dr Mitrofan with the concelebration of the entire clergy of the Eastern Canadian Deanery (Ontario and Quebec). This will be followed by the cutting of the Slava kolach on the occasion of the Slava of the Diocesan Circle of Serbian Sisters, as well as a banquet luncheon with spit-roasted pork and lamb and live music under the pavilion at noon. After that, at 2:00 PM, the largest outdoor gathering of folklore groups will follow.
On Diocesan Day, there will be no services in the parish churches of Ontario and Quebec, but only in the monastery in Milton. For more information, please consult your priest. We look forward to seeing you!
