Inaugural Camp Unity Successfully Held in Burnaby

From July 27–31, 2026, the Saint Michael the Archangel Serbian Orthodox Church and School Congregation in Burnaby, in collaboration with the Orthodox Church in America, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch, organized a children's camp called Camp Unity. This year's camp brought together about twenty participants who during the three-day camp had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of life in the Church through various activities. The camp was organized as a pilot project for the coming years and, considering that it brought together children and volunteers from four Orthodox jurisdictions and seven different parishes, it proved to be very successful.
