Cheesefare Week at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery
On Cheesefare Week, Sunday March 2, 2025, His Eminence Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada Mitrofan celebrated the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Milton.
The Holy Liturgy was served with the concurrence of: Bishop Emeritus of Canada His Grace Georgije, Protosyngel Sava (Medakovich), Fr. Vuk Milisic, Fr. Marko Radmanovic, Fr. Georgije Tubonjic, Fr. Marko Dimic, Fr. Nemanja Lipic, and deacon Fr. Petar Marjanovic.
In his sermon, Metropolitan Mitrofan emphasized the significance and importance of the Great and Holy Lent that is coming upon us.
