Annual Diocesan Assembly Held in Waterloo (photo gallery)
On Friday February 28 and Saturday March 1, 2025, the 41st Annual Assembly of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada was held under the blessing and presidency of the Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada His Eminence Mitrofan. The traditional annual diocesan assembly was attended by all clergy, and a total of 74 delegates from 33 parishes. Financial reports were submitted, the budget of the Diocese for the 2025 fiscal year was approved, and issues of legislative, educational, and missionary operations of the largest diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church in terms of territory were discussed. The assembly was closed with the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy in the Holy Great Martyr George Church in Waterloo, Ontario.
