Metropolitan Mitrofan Consecrates Antimins in Waterloo
On Friday February 28, 2025, an evening service was held at the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George in Waterloo, Ontario. Officiating were the parish priest of Niagara Falls Fr. Stanko Antic, the parish priest of Vancouver Fr. Vuk Milisic, the parish priest of East Kitchener and Diocesan Secretary Fr. Jovan Marjanac, the parish priest of Winnipeg Fr. Georgije Tubonjic and Deacon Fr. Nemanja Lipic.
The evening service was prayerfully attended by the Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada His Eminence Mitrofan.
At the end of the evening service, Metropolitan Mitrofan performed the consecration of the new antimins, which he concluded a day later by celebrating the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy on them.
