Metropolitan Mitrofan Visited Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canada
On June 27, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan of Canada Mitrofan visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa, accompanied by the Secretary of the Diocesan Administrative Board Sister Paraskeva, the Secretary of the Diocesan Office Deacon Petar Marjanovc, and the Vice President of the Diocesan Administrative Board Zeljko Colakovic. During the conversation, His Eminence Metropolitan Mitrofan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canada Stefan Tomasevic discussed topics of importance for the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Canada, as well as opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa and the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, with the aim of preserving the Orthodox faith, spiritual heritage and traditions, as well as the national and cultural identity of the Serbian people in Canada.
