Third School Year of Serbian Language School at Saint Sava Church in London Successfully Completed
On June 14, 2026, on the day when our Holy Church prayerfully celebrates Saint Justin the Philosopher and Saint Justin of Celije, the third successful school year at the Serbian School at the Saint Sava Church in London ended.
After the Holy Liturgy, a joint photo session of the school students followed, and then the students went to their classrooms where the last lesson of this school year was held and where they were presented with certificates. 53 children regularly and dedicatedly attended classes during this school year.
Brother Bojan Forcan, treasurer of the Church and School Congregation and a great assistant and collaborator of the church and school, presented teachers Dajana, Sara, Marina, Nika and Milena with flowers as a token of gratitude for their professionalism, love and dedicated work with the children during the past school year.
The school administration, headed by Fr. Dusko Markovic and Presbytera Milena Markovic, expressed sincere gratitude for this event:
“We are grateful to all our students, of whom we are extremely proud, and especially to their attendance at the Holy Liturgy before the Serbian School classes and their active participation in the life of our Church. We also thank the parents for their support, trust and cooperation throughout the year, as well as for the love and effort they invest in their children and the life of our school. We thank everyone who, with their support, effort and kindness, helps the work of our Serbian School. We believe that investing in our children is priceless, and therefore, for three years now, thanks to the unity and love of our community, we have been striving to enable every child to attend school without any financial burden on their family.”
