Church Slava in Niagara Falls (photo gallery)
Saint George's Day, the Slava of the Holy Great Martyr George Church in Niagara Falls, was solemnly celebrated in recent days. The first part of the celebration was held on Wednesday May 6, and the continuation of the celebration was held on Sunday May 10, 2026. The Holy Liturgy on Wednesday was served by the parish priest Fr. Stanko Antic. At the end of the Holy Liturgy, the Slava gifts were blessed. The Pjevac family were the godparents of this year's church Slava.
The Holy Liturgy on Sunday was celebrated by parish priest Fr. Stanko Antic, with the concelebration of Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Dragomir Ninkovic (West Hamilton Parish) and Fr. Aleksandar Mitrovic (Burlington–Milton Parish). After the Holy Liturgy, a festive luncheon was held in the church hall.
