Fraternal Meeting of the Clergy of Windsor
Yesterday, March 21, 2026, gathered in the love of God and the spirit of brotherly harmony, all the Orthodox priests from the city of Windsor gathered at the Saint Petka Church in Lakeshore to offer a common prayer and unite with the Lord through Holy Communion, testifying to the unity of our holy Orthodox faith.
The Holy Liturgy was served by: Fr. Corneliu Adrasco and Fr. Nicolae Codrea from the Romanian Church, Fr. Miroljub Todorovic, Fr. Vlatko Golic, Fr. Milorad Delic, Fr. Brian Payne and the host of the gathering Fr. Marko Dimic from the Serbian Church, Fr. Emil Atanasov from the Macedonian Church, Fr. Seraphim Torres from the Antiochian Church and Fr. Srdjan Miskovic from the Orthodox Church in America.
An inspired sermon was delivered by Fr. Vlatko, reminding us that true unity is born in love, forgiveness and joint prayer, when as one Body of Christ we approach the Holy Chalice.
After the Holy Liturgy, an agape meal was held, which was prepared with much effort, attention and Christian love by the hardworking sisters of the Empress Milica Circle of Serbian Sisters at the parish of Saint Petka. The joint gathering continued in joy, conversation and gratitude to God for the gift of unity.
May such gatherings always remind us that, regardless of language or origin, we belong to one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, called to be witnesses of Christ’s love in the world.
We thank all who participated, helped and with their presence magnified this prayerful gathering. May the Lord grant peace, health and spiritual joy to all!
