Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Renovation and Expansion of the Church Hall at Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Hamilton

On May 17, 2026, with great joy and pride, the groundbreaking ceremony marking the ceremonial beginning of the renovation and expansion of the Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Hamilton's church hall was held – a place where the local community gathers, preserves our holy faith, cherishes tradition and strengthens unity.

Continuing the path left to them by their ancestors, with the same love, faith and dedication, the Serbs of Hamilton are building something that will serve to benefit future generations. This is not just a construction project, but a testament to their commitment to their roots, to our Mother Church and to the values that have sustained us for centuries.

We sincerely congratulate the church board, as well as all those who, with their effort, sacrifice, time and love, contribute to the realization of this great and significant work. May the Lord bless this undertaking and all the benefactors, donors and people of good will who support this community, so that in harmony, faith and love they may continue to build what will remain as a legacy for generations.
