Slava of Gracanica Church in Windsor Celebrated With Holy Hierarchical Liturgy (photo gallery)
On Sunday August 24, the celebration of the Dormition of the Mother of God – the Slava of Gracanica Church in Windsor – began with the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy, presided over by His Eminence Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada Dr. Mitrofan. After the blessing of the Slava gifts, the Slava festivities continued with a three-time procession around the church as well as a traditional Slava banquet in the Serbian Centre.
