Concert of the Vuk Karadzic Folklore Group from Vancouver

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the packed hall of the Bell Performing Arts Centre, the annual concert of the Vuk Karadzic Folklore Group, which operates at the Saint Sava Church in Vancouver, was held under the title Through the Years. In front of more than 800 spectators, our youth once again demonstrated the beauty, strength and richness of Serbian tradition.

For more than fifty years, this folklore ensemble has preserved the spirit of the Serbian people through folk dances, songs, music and authentic folk costumes. Each performance was filled with energy, love and pride, testifying to how customs, culture and unity are nurtured far from the homeland.

We are proud of our youth and grateful to everyone who has invested years of effort into the work of this ensemble, which today represents one of the largest folklore societies in North America.

After the concert, the gathering continued in the premises of the Saint Sava Church in Vancouver, where participants, guests, and friends stayed in joy and fellowship until late into the night.
