Saint Peter's Day in Lakeshore
On July 12, 2026, the Feast of the Holy Glorious and All-Praised Apostles Peter and Paul was joyfully celebrated in the Saint Petka Church in Lakeshore.
The Divine Liturgy was marked by prayerful joy as many of the faithful received Holy Communion, giving thanks to God for the gift of His grace and the blessing of gathering together in Christ. Following the Divine Liturgy, the parish continued the celebration with a traditional parish picnic, where parishioners enjoyed fellowship in a spirit of Christian love and unity. One of the highlights of the day was the traditional game of bocce, first enjoyed by the men and later joined by the women, adding to the joyful and festive atmosphere.
