Celebration of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary in Lakeshore
On Sunday September 20, 2026, the Slava of the Circle of Serbian Sisters – the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was solemnly celebrated. The Holy Liturgy was served by the Diocesan Deputy, retired Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Miroljub Todorovic, and the local parish priest Fr. Marko Dimic.
The godmother of the Slava was Rada Jeftic, while Radojka Cimbur took over the godmothership for the following year. The celebration was also enhanced by the presidents of the Circle of Serbian Sisters at the Saint Dimitrije Church and the Windsor Gracanica Church Gordana Krndija and Raviojla Ajdinovic. The Slava luncheon was also attended by Fr. Georgije Tubonjic and Fr. Milorad Delic.
We thank all the sisters, families and believers who, with their effort, presence and love, contributed to this gathering in prayer, joy and unity. May the Lord and the Most Holy Theotokos protect our sisters, their families and the entire parish community.
