Lecture by Fr. Milos Vesin in London
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the church hall of the Saint Sava Church and School Congregation in London, Very Reverend Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Milos Vesin gave an inspiring lecture on the theme of the Great and Holy Fast.
Before a large gathering of faithful, Fr. Milos spoke about the importance of fasting, its essence and spiritual depth, with special reference to the Prayer of Saint Ephraim the Syrian.
In a remarkably clear and inspired manner, without any ambiguity, he interpreted this prayer, pointing to its power as a spiritual guide during the time of Lent. His words were not only a lesson, but also an encouragement – a call to persevere in fasting, to strengthen ourselves spiritually, and to remain collected and united in these challenging times.
We are grateful to Fr. Milos for the honour he bestowed upon us with his arrival, conversation, and lecture, as well as for his God-inspired words that strengthened us and reminded us of the essence of our spiritual life.
