Pascha in Lakeshore
The Resurrection of Christ was celebrated at Saint Petka Church in Lakeshore. Services began on Holy Thursday, when we prayerfully followed the suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ through all the services of Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
On Pascha itself, the church was filled with believers who welcomed the good news of the victory of life over death with joy and love. After the Holy Liturgy, the children from our parish performed a short program before the distribution of the Eucharist, enriching the festive joy with their participation.
After the service, the celebration continued in the church hall where, in the spirit of unity, we continued the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ with a feast of love.
